Whassup? I just got back from a little mini-tour of the great state of Nevada. First, I was in Vegas for a week. One night after our show, I went over to the Boardwalk Casino and caught “Purple Reign”, which is an EXCELLENT Prince tribute. Jason looks just like Prince. He’s got all the moves down (including the James Brown splits). He’s even got all the facial expressions down. In fact, if he wasn’t almost 6 feet tall, I’d swear Prince was there in cognito working on his show. They also had a Morris Day in the show that was also very good. If you are a Prince fan, and are ever in Vegas, you owe it to yourself to go check it out.

Then, this last week, I was up in Mesquite, Nevada. I had a great time with the guys in the band, and we met a lot of very interesting people (you know who you are). Thank you Will and Skip for everything. Happy Anniversary.

Well, even with all that fun, I missed my gig down at Pancho’s, but I’ll be back this weekend, and we have a very special guest. On drums this Friday and Saturday night will be Todd Sucherman from Styx. This guy always rocks HUGE! So come on down and see us. It’s been 3 weeks, so I am chompin at the bit to get back and tear.

By the way, for those of you that are wondering, yes, I do have some views on current world events, and will respond in length at some time. For now, it suffices to say that I am against war. Any reason for war is a bad one, because war in itself, is inherently bad. Karma will be served. I am not convinced that our best interests are being served by this destruction of life and peace. I do know this, billions and billions of dollars are being spent to destroy a country, and billions and billions of dollars will be spent to rebuild it. Somebody must pay for that, and somebody gets paid for that. That’s all I have to say right now. Other than I REALLY hope we’re done...

Peace - Still a Good Idea...
