What a great weekend we had this past one. Saturday night Shem and Tollack from Ambrosia/Kenny Loggins were with us. Both of them played and sang their asses off! I had to get a flashlight to look behind the stage for Tollack’s. We never did find it. Click here to see what’s shakin for the upcoming weekend.
Then, Monday night I did a show with my good friend Craymo, who is a singer/songwriter. We were at Genghis Cohen club in Hollywood. I got there early and noticed on the marquis that one of my favorite female performers, Beth Hart, was playing after us (see pics below). I was so stoked. Our show went great, and Beth certainly did not disappoint. What a stage presence, and what an incredible voice. Absolutely amazing. She played acoustic guitar and keys, and had a guy playing acoustic as well. It’s a good thing I stayed, because her partner broke his “A” string on the first song, so I let them use my guitar. What a guy, huh? Anyway, just wanted to share that with you, because I so rarely get to see great musicians perform other than the ones I am playing with at the time. Made my whole musical week...
