Hey guys,

Wow! I just got back from attending Inside Connection Magazine’s Indie Sessions 2002. What a day. First of all, I had a gig last night, and didn’t get home until about 2:30. Then I sat up working on a few final touches on my promo for the show. I finally crawled in bed at 4:30. Registration was at 8:00! At the LAX Radisson!! 45 minutes away!!! UGH! Anyway, the show was great. I met some really heavy and influential people. And they all were very nice and answered all my questions. I got a few bidness cards, and gave out some promo. I love how open and helpful people are when you’re nice to them… Hopefully something will come out of it. It was certainly very informative. It gave me some ideas about business directions that I’ll definitely be exploring.

My gig on Friday was at a nightclub and restaurant down in Manhattan Beach called Poncho’s. It is pretty much a house gig. I am there a lot of the Friday and Saturday nights that I am in town. The place packs out with the age group being about 25- 40. There are some really heavy players. For instance, one of the drummers on the gig is Matt Laug, the guy who actually played on “You Oughtta Know”, by Alanis Morrisette, as well as several other tracks on that album. One of our bass players tours with Don Henley. And I mean everyone that does the gig has a pedigree a mile long. Needless to say, I am in Heaven playing with these guys. It is really a blast.

Well, gotta split. Check back from time to time. I’ll be leaving my deep thoughts, as well as my ramblings of an unstable mind. And email me. Lemme know what you are thinking. I ‘m working on setting up a chat forum on the website. I wanna do it kinda like ICQ. So if you come to the website at 3:00 in the morning to see what’s up, you might find me in the lounge, and we can chat in real time. STAY TUNED!
